Privacy Policy
At BrightSpark Technologies, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines what SnapDE does — and doesn’t — collect, and how we protect your information.
What We Don't Collect
SnapDE does not collect or store your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
Authentication is handled entirely through Salesforce Marketing Cloud's OAuth 2.0 flow. We do not store your login credentials, email address, or account secrets.
Your Marketing Cloud's installed package Client ID and Auth URI are used only during the authentication process and are never saved to our servers.
What We Do Collect
To improve SnapDE's performance and reliability, we log the following non-personal information in a secure database:
- Business Unit ID (MID)
- User ID (as provided by SFMC)
- Business Unit Name
This data helps us improve the system and troubleshoot issues. It is never linked to any specific person and does not contain any PII. We record a record of each data extension creation, the user who created it, and the time it was created. This information is used solely for debugging purposes and is not shared with any third parties.
File & Data Handling
CSV files uploaded to SnapDE are processed locally within your browser session and are not uploaded or stored on our servers.
Session Security
During your session, SnapDE temporarily stores an encrypted session token in your browser. This token contains non-PII metadata about your authenticated state and is used to maintain your session securely. The token is not accessible to third parties and is cleared after expiration or logout.
No Salesforce Affiliation
SnapDE is an independent product developed by BrightSpark Technologies. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Salesforce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. All Salesforce trademarks and logos are the property of Salesforce, Inc.
Limitation of Liability
By using SnapDE, you acknowledge and agree that BrightSpark Technologies is not responsible for any loss of data, configuration issues, or other impacts resulting from actions taken within your Marketing Cloud instance. Users assume full responsibility for their use of the platform and any changes made to their environment.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as SnapDE evolves. We will notify users of any significant changes during the beta period or through the application directly.
